SecureMySocial Granted Fourth Patent For Social Media Security

New York, NY – September 10, 2020 - SecureMySocial, Inc. is proud to announce that, on September 8th, the United States Patent Office granted the firm’s fourth patent covering various aspects of social media security.

Patent number US 10,771,464, entitled Systems and Methods for Securing Social Media for Users and Businesses and Rewarding for Enhancing Security, contains a robust invention that addresses the risks that posts to social media may pose to businesses and individuals alike.

“SecureMySocial is proud to announce that it has received its fourth social media security patent at the same time that the world is increasingly focused on the risks of social media – from the spread of misinformation about COVID-19, to cyberbullying and cancel culture, to election-affecting fake news to data leaks and other forms of problematic social media activity,” said SecureMySocial’s CEO, Joseph Steinberg.

About SecureMySocial:

SecureMySocial protects businesses and people from the risks of potentially problematic social media usage by warning users of social media in real time if they are making posts that could harm themselves or their employers. If so authorized, it can also automatically delete bad posts. By offering SecureMySocial to employees, businesses may reduce their exposure to bad publicity, human resource issues, lawsuits, and regulatory fines.
