SecureMySocial announced today that Rhonda MacLean, former Chief Information Security Officer of Boeing, Bank of America, and Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Bank, has joined its Advisory Board.
Ms. MacLean is presently the CEO of MacLean Risk Partners, a risk-management consulting company, and serves on the Board of Directors of several cybersecurity and fraud-prevention companies including RedSeal and ThreatMetrix. She previously served as Chief Information Security Officer for Boeing, Bank of America, and Barclays, PLC, Global Retail and Commercial Bank in London, and served on the Board of Directors of Vontu and PGP Corporation, leading technology companies dedicated to providing data protection and data loss solutions, both of which were acquired by Symantec. She has also served as Adjunct Distinguished Senior Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s Information Networking Institute.
Earlier in her career, Ms. MacLean was appointed by the United States Secretary of the Treasury to serve as the sector coordinator and chairperson of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security. She has won many awards including having been named by Network World, on multiple occasions, as one of the most powerful 50 people in the networking field, and winning the CSO Compass Award for Industry Leadership, CIO Digest EMEA Visionary Award, and the Executive Women’s Forum’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
